Happy House Chinese

The Happy House Chinese take out restaurant is a great idea if you are to tired to go out for Chinese food. It is fast and convenient to have them bring it right to your door.I love the idea of not having to cook Chinese food but still getting to eat at home when it's been a long day.

Now I was perfectly fine with basic Chinese food because I didn't have to cook supper; having said that my boys were not to impressed. They felt the food was not as tasty as it should be. I was happy with it but my hubby is a fried rice freak and he felt it was not tasty enough. He said the rice was a bit bland and on the dry side. I felt it was average and served the purpose. I always add soy sauce or chili sauce to mine so I really didn't think it was to bad.

The Lo Main was a bit on the bland side but I feel that was the cook oil they use. Some just tastes better than others and leave a better after taste honestly that is the only complaint I have. I love the fact they deliver to my door as a busy Maw I am so happy not having to cook for the night.

We paid $27.35 for four servings and I also paid a $3.00 tip. Let me say we had a lot left over so I could say this would definitely serve four (4) adults no problem. I like the containers they serve the Pork Fried Rice and Lo Mein in. The delivery driver was very nice and friendly I was very happy we ordered from Happy House.The boys not so much and they say next time it's Great Wall or Golden China to go, Golden China does not deliver but is by far the tastiest of them all. If you wanna go out for Chinese the Taste of China is great if you have picky eaters because there is definitely something for everyone. I also reviewed Great Wall Chinese Take Out as well.
