The awaking

Although Jay didn’t have much of a love life at the moment, he considered himself somewhat of a playa. It was a dry spell right now but he expected that to change soon, after all he just bought a new car, things were really kickin up.

The new car was baby blue in color it was a 2012 New Edition Hydro Convertible, from Seedy a new Green automotive giant who is leading the way in Green technology even after 10 years of creative ideas behind the scenes they decided to step to the forefront. This company is so raw, so shabby sheik that people fell so in love right off the bat that the giants in the industry were taken by surprise, a virtual sucker punch if you will. The big companies could not keep them down, though they did try. With a smear campaign to make even a hard line politician embarrassed but no matter how long you make someone look bad the truth finally comes out, word of mouth is a powerful force not easily reckoned with. From all the top auto industry leaders no one expected an unknown to take the lead but they smoke them all so to speak. Not only do they leave the other companies in the dust where mpg is concerned but the new HC motor is blowing every country out of the water where new automotive technology is concerned. Speculation is flying as to where this new clean energy technology could have come from but no one is talking about the source not even the gossip net.

The Hydro Clean is on the cutting edge even in 2012 the entire industry is running behind Seedy still trying to catch up to them. It has been rumored a big wig has backed them with endless amounts of money. No one knows who this person is but speculation has ran from an unknown all the way up to Ben stein but no one really knows who it could be. It has to be someone that is not in the pocket of big oil money that’s for sure. That rules out most people I would think a big player, in big money because everyone knows in the twenty first century big oil ruled.

Most of the power from other countries came from big oil because of the whole supply & demand concept once that picture shifted to the new era of the whole concept of save our Earth we have new power houses, the wind, hydro & other more ecologically friendly sources of energy coming to the forefront of the energy revolution. Basically the big boys weren’t so big any more; they had to play nice with their neighbors or get shut out of the games. Funny how necessity is the driving force of life sustaining sources and not popularity on the play ground. Survival is based on who the strongest is and who can out smart the teachers to get away with anything they want. Staying one step ahead that's the most effiect way to play the game.

Jay knew the markets had changed so much that the whole game has now shifted from old traders being at the top of the games to new blood just learning the ropes blazing the trails now. Things have changed so much that the old guys have to beg for just a few crumbs. For Jay this shift has been quite lucrative and he was on top of the world. Money was no object, the world was at his feet for him to take in any way shape of form he pleased, and oh yes he was pleased.

Lately sleep had evaded him but an increased work out at the gym should help him relax more tonight, Jay thought as he drove into the parking lot of What the Peck, his favorite gym. Once inside Jay quickly spotted his old friend Sam and chose a treadmill next to him, climbing onto the machine he tossed his bag on the floor off to the side. Looking back at Same & turning on the machine in one swift move Jay said, "Hey Sam I see you still have your old friend, spare tire and his buddy beer belly ha ha ha, I take it you haven't spend much time here lately either huh"? 

Glancing over at Sam with a grin Jay suddenly noticed a figure behind Sam that was dark & had a greenish blur or glow around it- it looked like a television not quite tuned in to the channel, quickly stumbling backwards Jay said “what the hell is that?” pointing behind Sam. Sam spun quickly to look behind him & said, “What are you talking about?”  Jay now realized that the figure disappeared as quickly as it had appeared, forcing himself to laugh as he slipped off of the treadmill Jay said, “Ha I, I got you,” trying to hide the shakiness in his voice. Jay thought to himself, the figure was there then was blurry then it disappeared but I know it was there! “I was just messing with you Sam!” Jay said. Looking around Sam had a puzzled look on his face, “what ever Jay, you sounded like you saw a ghost!” said Sam. “I was just pulling a fast one on you Sam,” Jay said. “Jay, are you feeling alright?” asked Sam with a concerned look on his face. “Yes I am fine, I was just fooling around man!” said Jay. “Okay, well you look beat Jay,” Sam pointed out. “Yeah I haven’t been getting enough sleep lately Sam” answered Jay. “Maybe you need a break away from work Jay?” said Sam. “No can do, I just got that promotion, besides I just need to buy some sleeping pills to take for a few nights & I’ll be good to go” said Jay. “Well if it’s any consolation you scared the hell out of me!” said Sam. “Laughing Jay shook his head & said I don’t know what my problem is lately.”  What ever it was thought Jay, it looked blurry and dark maybe just my imagination playing tricks on me.
