Christmas Time Family Fun
Christmas is my favorite time of year so there is no way I could not write about Old Town Moore. Even though I live in the city it has a small town charm in Old Town during the holidays. I love that the city of Moore takes the time to make a family event for the holidays. It's really great how all the shops join in the holiday fun with special treats. If you live in the area be sure to come check it out. Merry Christmas!
When you think of the holiday season with your family I doubt you think of walking down the shopping area in a city. Old Town Moore is a very different city it is a very special place during the holiday season very welcoming and inviting for all friends and families who live in the area or just those coming to visit the area during this magical time. This is a place that is very charming with an old world feel. Shops decorated in Christmas wonder and the sound of Christmas Caroling in the distance your family is sure to have a great time for the evening.
Old Town Moore is in Moore, Oklahoma in the area of Broadway and NE 2nd Street and all the way down by the Moore Public Library its our favorite area to walk every Christmas season. If you are looking for something special to do with your family this Christmas make sure to check out Christmas in old town. This is an area of Moore with a family feel and businesses offer all kinds of special goodies and freebies which you know I absolutely love. Some shops offer special hot apple cider or hot chocolate, yet others offer coupons and samples for you & your family to enjoy. Still others offer a Christmas cookie or candy cane and some great Christmas spirit.I love to walk from shop to shop to visit with people and get some Christmas shopping in too. There are some different items in the Old Town area you may not find anywhere else. This is a great place to shop and visit with your family. We always enjoy the time we spend here and would not miss Old Town Christmas every year.
You can drive through Old Town there is plenty of parking in the area though you might miss the Christmas caroling on the way through or you just might miss a Christmas horse and carriage ride. This is no doubt one of the best Christmas memories for us every year. Make sure to make your way to the Moore Public Library for a picture with Santa Clause as he is passing through. I doubt you will find a more cozy or inviting setting even in a small town.
