Asheville Restaurant

For a really great lunch spot for two in Asheville, NC check out Applebee's. This is the best restaurant. We love the idea of the 2 for $20.00 where you get an appetizer to share and then you each get your Entree off the 2 for $20.00 menu. The food is always great. I love to have so many delicious choices to pick from. Spending time with someone special is all more memorable when you can sit down in a wonderful atmosphere with great food. They also have a pick a pair for right now; where you get which is a combo of two for $6.99. Sizzling Entrees and other Menu items are from $8.00 & upwards of $16.99 for say a full rack of Double-Glazed Baby Back Ribs.

I do not know how long Applebees will run this special but as long as they do I will be happy. Now I have to say just so you know this price does not include beverage, tax or gratuity. There are so many choices I was happy to order off their 2 for menu. We started with the Spinach & Artichoke dip. The spinach tastes very fresh and wonderful the cheesy garlic flavor is light but perfect to the point you can hardly stop eating it. The chips were nice and fresh as well.

We had the 3 Cheese Chicken Penne Pasta Bowl and the Fiesta Lime Chicken for our entrees. The pasta bowl is huge, my husband could not even finish it. Even though we had the appetizer that is very rare for him. The pasta sauce is loaded with chessy goodness it was great. The chicken was delicious as well. The Fiesta Lime Chicken was so full of flavor I couldn't stop eating it even though I was full it was really delicious and cook to perfection.

The service is great and very friendly and timely. I love the location close to shopping and the mall. The atmosphere is so comforting and relaxing I like that when I go to eat I hate loud over crowded places. I love the fact they take their time even if they are busy to make sure the atmosphere is comfortable and not to over crowded and loud.

Last but certainly not least and a report for the clean restroom club of which I am also an active member. I for one can attest to the fact that this place has a clean restroom which I find very comforting. I like the fact that they keep their restroom cleaned that is a must in my book and I shall never let the C.R.C. down. Even if a dirty restroom is found in one of what I consider to be a favorite eatery I do uphold my C.R.C. oath to do my duty. (sorry pardon me) I have taken a personal oath to solemnly swear to report dirty restrooms no matter where they may be found. In my book this is a make or break in my eating out choices.
